About the Event

Longtime Wayne resident and author, Jeffrey J. Antonucci, is having a book talk and signing at the Wayne Public Library.

The author will be making a $5 donation to the Wayne Free Public Library Foundation for each book sold at the event. Books can also be purchased online

The talk will be followed by a book signing. During the event, attendees will hear the local author speak about his beautifully illustrated novel, Deep Within a Blueberry Sky, the process of writing the book, and his inspiring story of how he became

an author. His presentation will also feature a discussion of the book’s theme,“The Power of Love” and new Love and Peace, A Sign for Our Times initiative.

Deep Within a Blueberry Sky is a magical realism novel and tells of loving grandparents, Grandma Jennie, and Poppy Tom, who devise a plan using the elements of a beautifully penned poem to teach their young granddaughter, Sarah, lessons of love and life that she will carry with her and draw strength from, for the rest of her life. In the book, Antonucci reveals to the reader                                                                       through powerful prose, Sarah’s journey of self-discovery and empowerment that spans decades.

Jeffrey J. Antonucci, followed in the footsteps of his father, uncle, and grandfather, all master tradesmen, by working in construction as a bricklayer. It wasn’t until the idea for this story came to Jeff, as he tells it, like a slideshow before his eyes, that he ever thought of writing, what would become, a novel.

He is also in the process of forming a social movement to bring awareness that our world is in a tumultuous state and in desperate need for improvement. Through this initiative, he is using a new, nonthreatening three-finger hand sign that he hopes will become known and used universally to symbolize love and peace to all people and all things.
